Mr. Samih created a collaborative and supportive culture that is unlike anywhere else I have worked. This culture has remained very firmly intact, despite the addition over the years of thousands of new employees in diverse geographical locations and of different backgrounds and capabilities. I believe at its root is Mr. Samih’s commitment to family – his own and the wider, ever growing Hikma family. Like a father, Mr. Samih encouraged and enabled Hikma employees to stretch themselves. I suspect at times that he even pushed employees quite hard to take on new responsibilities and spread their wings. While I am sure that he wanted Hikma as a company to succeed, I am certain that he took most pleasure in seeing the successes and achievements of his employees.
